i have my first out of state client coming this weekend and she wants a piece from me so i painted this up for her and will tattoo it on her this weekend. the painting is acrylic on canvas 11x14. i included black in my palette for this painting which i hadnt done in over 2 years but i decided to give it a shot again. the tattoo will be about half this size so well see how they compare

this guy washed up on the beach the other day. we rushed to get him back in the water and he swam away just fine. he told me he wished he had teeth so he could eat more candy. his favorite is sour skittles though.

this is going on the opposite side of the arm of the monkey with a balloon. all his lollipops are flying away so he may not be so happy when he finally lands. this will begin on thursday.

just wanted to paint something quick. get out energy with a limited palette and paint something small (12x12) oh and i forgot how much fun oil paints are!!!! oh and were having a zombie art show at the shop in october. so there will be some serious zombie paintings coming up. those ill have to keep secret for a while. but they should be fun.

so this is the plan for today. gonna be a looooooong day. well see what happens. hopefully we get a dent in this thing today....back ground will probably have some penguin elves or something cooler if i think of it between now and when we do the background.

did this thing tonight. this girl sat for over 7 hours!!!! on her ribs?!?!? i dont have my ribs tattooed but i would imagine this would hurt really bad. anyways some of the colors arent quite settled and its not in the best lighting but i will get a healed picture in a couple weeks. maybe add a background then too

so now that busy season is over, painting season has begun. had a lot of fun with this little guy.....hes super friendly and would love to hangout with everyone. 18x24 acylic on canvas.

now that spring break season is over i NEEDED to paint. i havent painted anything in months. this is a sposed to be a self portrait (its an olive....my name is olive. get it?) the new mike tyson punch out came out for nintendo wii today (which doesnt have mike tyson in the game or the title)  and to make a long story short that was my inspiration! nothing too special i just needed to smush around some paint

ok so i've never been accused of being a portrait painter but for xmas everyone at the shop drew names and had to paint a portrait of that person for their little secret santa...except it wasnt really secret. i somehow managed to get Travis, the most experienced painter at the shop.....so hopefully he doesnt think this is garbage. but yeah. it was fun smearing around a bunch of oil paint. i definately havent done that in a while. and i cant remember every painting a portrait. i have some goofy stuff coming up for some paintings.
